Prefeitura cadastra empresas para o serviço de poda de árvores em calçadas e áreas públicas de Sorocaba – Agência de Notícias

Empresas de Sorocaba podem se cadastrar junto à Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem-Estar Animal (Sema), a partir da próxima segunda-feira (13), para realizar o serviço de poda em calçadas e áreas públicas de Sorocaba, exceto quando incinde em fiação elétrica, com base na Lei Municipal n⁰ 4812/1995, alterada pela Lei Municipal n⁰ 12.624/2022.

Esse importante trabalho continuará sendo realizado pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo). Contudo, com essa iniciativa, haverá a possibilidade do morador, se assim desejar, mediante autorização da Sema, contratar uma das empresas cadastradas para realizar a poda de formação, poda de limpeza ou poda de contenção de copa da árvore que esteja em sua calçada ou área pública.

“Com isso, busca-se agilizar ainda mais esse serviço em nossa cidade, que hoje é feito exclusivamente pela Prefeitura e, quando tem contato com a fiação elétrica, pela CPFL. Para isso, primeiramente, vamos receber o cadastro de empresas de Sorocaba interessadas em prestar esse serviço e, ao final, vamos disponibilizar aos munícipes que quiserem contratar uma relação das empresas habilitadas”, explica o secretário da Sema, Neto Malavazzi.

“Essa alteração da lei municipal é um avanço, já que abre a possibilidade de o morador, que tenha condições e assim o adeseje, contratar o serviço de poda da árvore que está em sua calçada”, afirma a secretária de Governo (Segov), Samyra Toledo.

Para participar do chamamento público, é necessário que pessoas jurídicas cumpram o seguintes requisitos, todos previstos na legislação municipal: ter regularidade registral e nos cadastros ordinários perante à Administração Municipal; ausência de condenação por infração administrativa ambiental ou crime ambiental; ausência de pessoa no quadro societário que tenha condenação por infração administrativa ambiental ou crime ambiental; e comprovar possuir prévia especialização para a poda de árvores.

As empresas interessadas deverão protocolar, na Sema, até o dia 8 de fevereiro de 2024, o formulário de cadastramento para poda de árvores devidamente preenchido e assinado, acompanhado de todos os documentos elencados, que podem ser consultados no site da Sema: https://meioambiente.sorocaba.sp.gov.br/licenciamento/.

A Secretaria do Meio Ambiente, Proteção e Bem Estar Animal está localizada na Rua Santa Maria, 197, na Vila Hortência, e o horário de atendimento é de segunda a sexta feira, das 9h às 16h.
