A Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SMS) abriu nesta sexta-feira (9/2) mais um polo de atendimento para pacientes com dengue, na Policlínica Hélio Pellegrino, na Tijuca. A unidade se junta às de Curicica, Campo Grande, Santa Cruz, Del Castilho, Bangu, Madureira e Complexo do Alemão para o enfrentamento da epidemia. Neste sábado (10/2), será inaugurada a de Botafogo. Durante o carnaval, os polos funcionarão todos os dias, das 7h às 19h.
– Os polos foram preparados para fazer até 200 atendimentos por dia com celeridade. O objetivo é fazer toda a jornada do paciente com dengue dentro desses polos. A pessoa passa pela classificação de risco, se tem sinal de alarme ou de choque, ela vai direto para a hidratação. Se não tem esses sinais, é feito o hemograma e, com o resultado, definimos o melhor tratamento para o caso – explicou o subsecretário de Promoção, Atenção Primária e Vigilância em Saúde, Renato Cony.
Belmira Figueiredo, de 70 anos, foi acolhida no novo polo de atendimento de dengue na Policlínica Hélio Pellegrino logo pela manhã. Com febre e mal-estar, a aposentada teve atendimento médico e recebeu o resultado do exame de hemograma em menos de duas horas.
– O atendimento foi ótimo. Foi tudo muito rápido, a equipe é excelente – disse ela.
Diagnóstico e pontos de hidratação
Os polos são preparados para o diagnóstico e tratamento das pessoas com dengue, com pontos para hidratação venosa ou oral, conforme necessidade de cada caso. Pacientes com quadros mais graves e indicação de internação são regulados pela Central Municipal de Regulação e transferidos para leitos dedicados à dengue nos hospitais da rede de urgência e emergência do município. O Hospital Municipal Ronaldo Gazolla (HMRG), em Acari, é a unidade de concentração para a doença, inicialmente com 20 leitos. O HMRG, que durante a pandemia da covid-19 foi referência para o tratamento dos pacientes com quadros mais graves, tem expertise e preparo para passar rapidamente pelas alterações de fluxo necessárias em uma situação de epidemia.
