O músico Digo Ferreira realizará, nesta quinta-feira (16), às 14h, uma apresentação didática do seu DVD “Feijão e Farinha”, na Biblioteca Infantil Municipal “Renato Sêneca de Sá Fleury”. Já, na sexta-feira (17), no mesmo horário, a atividade será levada à Biblioteca Municipal “Jorge Guilherme Senger”.
Promovida pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria da Cultura (Secult), a apresentação didática possibilitará a formação de público, aproximando as pessoas dos ritmos brasileiros e da música instrumental, que são poucos difundidos.
Na ocasião, as pessoas terão a oportunidade de ter um contato mais próximo com a cultura brasileira, suas histórias, os ritmos da nossa cultura e também aprender um pouco do processo de composição e arranjo das músicas desse DVD.
Realizado com recursos do edital 2022 da Lei de Incentivo à Cultura de Sorocaba (Linc), o DVD “Feijão e Farinha” é o quarto trabalho solo da carreira do artista e reúne 12 composições autorais e uma releitura de “Vesúvio”, de Oswaldinho do Acordeon.
Admirado por músicos de todo o mundo, em função de sua abordagem da guitarra na música brasileira, especialmente os ritmos nordestinos, Digo Ferreira consolida sua maturidade artística ao unir, de maneira natural, versos dançantes do forró com improvisos surpreendentes típicos do jazz.
Representante da nova geração da música instrumental brasileira, músico, compositor, produtor, é reconhecido por sua identidade musical singular. Como instrumentista, toca guitarra, violão 7 e 6 cordas, baixo e cavaquinho. É pesquisador da linguagem da música regional brasileira, contracenando com a música contemporânea e o jazz.
A atividade é gratuita e aberta a todos, sem necessidade de inscrição prévia.
