A Cidade das Artes foi eleita na categoria de Melhor Teatro ou Casa de Espetáculos do Prêmio Cenym de Teatro Nacional – Daniel Castelo Branco/Cidade das Artes

A Cidade das Artes Bibi Ferreira, na Barra da Tijuca, vinculada à Secretaria Municipal de Cultura (SMC), foi eleita na categoria de Melhor Teatro ou Casa de Espetáculos do Prêmio Cenym de Teatro Nacional. O anúncio foi feito na noite de terça-feira (21/11), em Aracaju (Sergipe), nas redes e site oficiais da premiação.

O espaço cultural carioca concorreu a essa honraria junto ao Teatro Amazonas (AM), Teatro Porto (SP), Teatro Riachuelo (RN) e Teatro Santander (SP). O Prêmio Cenym é concedido pela Academia de Artes no Teatro do Brasil (ATEB) e reconhece os melhores espetáculos e performances do ano no teatro nacional.

– É uma grande vitória para a cidade do Rio e para a cultura carioca receber essa premiação nacional. Isso mostra o resultado de um trabalho de excelência que a Cidade das Artes realiza para receber os mais diversos públicos e espetáculos. É um orgulho para a Prefeitura do Rio saber que esse espaço de cultura e convivência está sendo reconhecido nacionalmente – comemorou a presidente da Cidade das Artes, Daniela Santa Cruz.
