A Empresa de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural de Minas Gerais (Emater-MG) lançou um projeto para incentivar o uso de energia solar em pequenas propriedades rurais. A empresa publicou nesta sexta-feira (29/12) um edital para criação de um cadastro público de empresas e profissionais habilitados à implantação e elaboração de parecer técnico em sistemas de microgeração e minigeração de energia solar fotovoltaica.
Com o uso desta matriz energética, a ideia é criar uma alternativa para ampliar a oferta de energia no meio rural. A proposta também é reduzir os custos de produção e os prejuízos causados no campo quando há falta de energia elétrica distribuída pelas concessionárias. “Já é comum o uso de energia fotovoltaica nos grandes empreendimentos, em grandes fazendas, gerando energia em larga escala. Mas o pequeno produtor também pode usufruir desta tecnologia para produzir sua própria energia com uma microusina da propriedade”, afirma o diretor-presidente da Emater-MG, Otávio Maia.
Ele explica que o trabalho da Emater-MG será oferecer o cadastro de profissionais aos produtores interessados em implementar o sistema fotovoltaico. “O produtor é quem irá contratar estas microusinas. Mas a Emater vai fazer uma análise da capacidade técnica das empresas e dos profissionais em atender a demanda no campo. Vamos ter uma listagem para disponibilizar aos interessados. O produtor terá a garantia de que a empresa cadastrada pela Emater preenche todos os requisitos necessários para o serviço a ser contratado”, diz.
O diretor de Infraestrutura da Emater-MG, Vitório Alves de Freitas, reforça que, além da geração de energia limpa para atender às necessidades da propriedade rural, o pequeno produtor também terá mais uma fonte de renda com a energia gerada por ele no sistema fotovoltaico. “Estamos trabalhando também para remunerar o produtor pelo excedente de energia que ele vai gerar, além daquela necessária para o seu consumo. Com a geração de energia limpa, estamos promovendo a sustentabilidade no campo, levando infraestrutura e tecnologia. Garantindo energia no meio rural você promove o desenvolvimento”, afirma.

O incentivo ao uso de energia fotovoltaica nas propriedades rurais faz parte do projeto Sol de Minas, do Governo do Estado. Ele tem como objetivo diversificar a matriz energética, buscando estimular a adoção de sistemas solares de geração em residências, comércios, indústrias e propriedades rurais, além de atrair empresas fornecedoras de bens e serviços para o setor. O Sol de Minas é coordenado pela Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Econômico (Sede).
Segundo a Secretaria, 100% dos 853 municípios mineiros possuem ao menos uma unidade de geração de energia solar fotovoltaica, marca importante para entender o compromisso do estado de zerar as emissões líquidas de gases de efeito estufa até 2050.
Em 2022, começou a funcionar uma microusina de energia solar fotovoltaica implantada pela Emater-MG em Ponto dos Volantes, no Vale do Jequitinhonha, em uma área da própria empresa. Com capacidade de geração de 12 mil kWh/mês, a usina é conectada à rede de distribuição da Cemig e compensa o consumo de energia elétrica da unidade central da Emater-MG, em Belo Horizonte.
