A Prefeitura de São José dos Campos começou a distribuir o IPTU 2024 pelo correio nesta quinta-feira (18). Serão entregues 240 mil carnês e 8 mil cartas de isenção pelo correio.
Outros 25 mil boletos do tributo já foram enviados por email aos cadastrados no sistema digital. Os contribuintes que não receberem o documento podem emitir a 2ª via na página do tributo ou comparecer aos postos de atendimento.
O vencimento da cota única ou primeira parcela será de 19 a 23 de fevereiro, conforme consta no carnê. O valor pode ser pago à vista, com desconto de 7,5%, ou parcelado em 10 vezes.
Além dos bancos credenciados e lotéricas, é possível fazer o pagamento pelo PIX com a leitura do QR CODE identificado na cota única ou nas parcelas.
Solicitações de redução, isenção e revisão devem ser feitas até o vencimento da primeira parcela. Neste ano, a correção do IPTU segue o índice de inflação do INPC, que ficou em 3,85% nos últimos 12 meses.
A arrecadação do IPTU é investida na execução de obras e serviços que melhoram a vida da população e promovem a qualidade de vida na cidade.
