Vítimas de temporal seguem recebendo atendimento da Prefeitura de Nova Iguaçu
A Secretaria Municipal de Defesa Civil de Nova Iguaçu divulgou, nesta quinta-feira (18), novo boletim das consequências da chuva intensa que atingiu a cidade entre a noite de sábado (13) e a madrugada de domingo (14), com 334 ocorrências. Há 118 pessoas desalojadas e outras 11 desabrigadas. Desde domingo, o município está em situação de emergência.
Equipes da Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social (SEMAS) estão visitando as residências das pessoas cadastradas para confirmar as informações e, em seguida, enviar os dados para o Programa Recomeçar, do Governo do Estado. No ato da visita, os moradores recebem kits de higiene pessoal e limpeza, colchonetes, roupas e cestas básicas, conforme a necessidade de cada um. Também está sendo feita busca ativa por moradores que não foram aos pontos, mas necessitam de auxílio.
Paralelamente, a SEMAS continua atendendo às vítimas da chuva que já possuem senhas para o cadastramento. Mais de 17 mil famílias já foram registradas. A distribuição dos números foi encerrada na última terça-feira (16). Nesta sexta (19), o atendimento segue nos bairros Comendador Soares, Moquetá e Valverde. Serão atendidos somente aqueles que tiverem em mãos senhas com a data do dia.

Para atender a população em caso de chuvas intensas, todos os 58 Pontos de Apoio e Abrigos Temporários da Defesa Civil estão mobilizados para, se necessário, abrigar quem precisar de um local seguro. Quem estiver em situação de risco deve ligar para os telefones: 199, 2667-5751 e 98160-9740.
