Para aprimorar os serviços a serem executados pela Comissão Técnica para coordenação e execução das ações necessárias à implantação do VLT de Cuiabá, no início da semana, o prefeito de Cuiabá, Emanuel Pinheiro anuncia a inclusão da Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social, Direitos Humanos e da Pessoa com Deficiência na composição dos membros representativos. A normativa será publicada na edição da Gazeta Municipal desta sexta-feira (19), por meio de Decreto Municipal de nº 10.037 de 18 de janeiro que altera a primeira publicação da última terça-feira (16).
A iniciativa levou em consideração a necessidade de assegurar e promover, em condições de igualdade, o exercício dos direitos e das liberdades fundamentais por pessoa com deficiência, visando à sua inclusão social e cidadania.
A partir dessa alteração, a comissão será composta por representantes do gabinete do prefeito, das secretarias municipais de Mobilidade Urbana (assumirá a coordenação geral, em caso de eventual impossibilidade temporária do Prefeito); Gestão; Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Urbano; Obras Públicas, Procuradoria Geral do Município e Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social, Direitos Humanos e da Pessoa com Deficiência.
Faz-se importante mencionar que, a Comissão terá coordenação geral do chefe do Executivo Municipal.
A comissão será mobilizada para o atendimento de novas demandas, caso surja a necessidade de novas ações no decorrer do período de elaboração dos projetos e minutas.
A coordenação técnica será exercida pela Sra. Janete Ely, economista e consultora técnica na área de infraestrutura de transporte e logística. O prazo para conclusão do estudo técnico preliminar e as minutas do termo de referência e edital de licitação até o dia 29 de março de 2024.
O novo projeto do VLT Cuiabano prevê a extensão do modal até o Distrito Industrial, no trecho Coxipó. Em comparação com o projeto original, que possuía 22.180 metros e 33 estações, a reestruturação proposta pelo município de Cuiabá aumentará o VLT para 23.125 metros, com 03 terminais de integração, 01 estação de conexão e 32 estações de transbordo.
