As inscrições para a II Conferência Municipal de Turismo terminam na próxima quarta-feira (31). O evento, idealizado pela Prefeitura de Nova Iguaçu em conjunto com o Conselho Municipal de Turismo, acontecerá no dia 7 de março, no auditório do Campus da UFRRJ (Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro), localizado na cidade.
Durante a conferência será discutido o segmento no município embasado pelo Plano Municipal de Turismo de Nova Iguaçu como um conjunto de estratégias e ações que tem como objetivo fomentar e viabilizar o desenvolvimento do turismo no município nos próximos dez anos. O evento também tem o objetivo de propor estratégias de aprimoramento da articulação e cooperação institucional entre os entes federativos, com a sociedade civil, que dinamizam os sistemas de participação e controle social na gestão das políticas públicas de turismo para avanço da implementação do Plano Municipal para o Desenvolvimento do Turismo em Nova Iguaçu.
Durante a conferência será eleita a composição não governamental do Conselho Municipal de Turismo de Nova Iguaçu para o mandato de 2024/26.
