Técnicos da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Turismo (Sectur) iniciaram na última segunda-feira (29), visitas técnicas aos empreendimentos hoteleiros de Campo Grande. A ação objetiva fazer o mapeamento e a atualização dos dados cadastrais dos meios de hospedagem para qualificar os leitos que o município possui, além de apresentar as ações da Secretaria, opções de atrativos na cidade e a programação do Carnaval 2024.
Entre as informações levantadas também estão quais os tipos de serviços oferecidos pelos empreendimentos, capacidade dos espaços para realização de eventos e acessibilidade, entre outros dados essenciais que ajudarão nas ações estratégicas da Sectur. A aproximação com os empresários possibilita o conhecimento das necessidades do setor que podem contribuir com o desenvolvimento de novas políticas públicas para fomentar o turismo local.
“O trabalho com a hotelaria tem papel fundamental no sistema turístico, uma vez que este segmento viabiliza a permanência dos turistas na localidade, seja a lazer ou a negócios, atendendo às suas necessidades e permitindo a expansão da atividade”, afirmou Wantuyr Tartari, superintendente de Turismo.
Segundo os dados do Observatório de Turismo de Campo Grande, a taxa de ocupação na Capital está em constante evolução, tendo aumentado mais de 25% após o período da pandemia da Covid-19. Ao todo serão visitados inicialmente 62 empreendimentos cadastrados.
