SECRETARIA DE AGRICULTURA RECEBEU VISITA DE ESPECIALISTAS DE SUSTENTABILIDADE DA BASF ARGENTINA
Em comemoração ao mês voltado para o Dia Mundial da Água, instituído no dia 22 de março pela Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU), a Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura, recebeu no dia 11/03 a visita de especialistas de sustentabilidade da BASF Argentina.
O objetivo foi de conhecer as práticas ambientais de reflorestamento do Mata Viva da BASF, bem como, as ações realizadas no Programa Produtor de Água na Bacia do Hidrográfica do Ribeirão Guaratinguetá. Programa este, coordenado pela Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura, tendo em vista a BASF ser a parceira desde a sua instituição em 2011. Além disso, a equipe teve a oportunidade de visitar as instalações do Viveiro Municipal de Guaratinguetá conhecendo melhor a prática de doação de mudas nativas para os munícipes de Guaratinguetá.
O intuito da visita foi de que estes projetos de sucesso implementados no município de Guaratinguetá possam servir de inspiração para o desenvolvimento de iniciativas de reflorestamentos apoiadas e realizadas pela BASF na Argentina contribuindo para a sustentabilidade e aumento da resiliência climática.
