Inscrições estão abertas até 22 de abril; evento será realizado em setembro, na USP
Estão abertas, até 22 de abril, as inscrições para o Encontro Nacional de Educação Steam, a ser realizado presencialmente entre os dias 23 e 27 de setembro, na Universidade de São Paulo (USP), na capital paulista. O objetivo do evento é ampliar a rede de professores e gestores de educação que atuam de forma integrada em Ciências, Tecnologia, Engenharias, Artes e Matemática (Steam), disseminando esse modelo inovador de ensino nas redes públicas de educação básica e técnica do país.
Podem se inscrever gestores de Secretarias Estaduais de Educação, envolvidos na elaboração e na implementação de políticas ou programas relacionados ao ensino de Ciências no Ensino Fundamental ou Médio, recomendados por sua respectiva Secretaria de Educação; professores do Ensino Fundamental II ou Médio, de escolas públicas de redes estaduais; e professores de Ensino Médio de Escolas Técnicas e Institutos Federais.
Serão selecionados 250 participantes, sendo que 60 receberão bolsas para custear despesas com passagem aérea, hospedagem e alimentação. O Instituto Federal de São Paulo, por meio da reitoria, apoiará até cinco servidores classificados para a capacitação com diárias. Caso haja mais de cinco servidores elegíveis para recebimento das diárias, será realizado um sorteio para definição dos servidores que receberão diárias pela reitoria, considerando os selecionados na primeira chamada, que serão anunciados no site do evento em 17 de junho. Do conceito à prática: “No encontro presencial, os participantes farão uma imersão na aprendizagem Steam, aprendendo ferramentas digitais e metodologias inovadoras de ensino. Isso inclui técnicas de aprendizagem criativa e Maker, abordagens investigativas e interdisciplinares, de iniciação à pesquisa científica e tecnológica, e de empreendedorismo”, explica a coordenadora científica da iniciativa, a professora Roseli de Deus Lopes, da Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (Poli-USP). “Eles também aprenderão a fazer o planejamento estratégico de políticas e ações de aprendizagem Steam. Isso possibilitará que repliquem essas práticas em seus estados”, acrescenta.
Para tanto, serão realizadas oficinas e ministradas palestras com líderes educacionais e de empreendedorismo do Brasil e do Estados Unidos; discussões em grupo; construções coletivas e dinâmicas utilizando técnicas de Design Thinking. Ao final, os participantes irão elaborar uma proposta de planejamento estratégico para ser implementada em seus respectivos estados.
Todos os participantes terão acesso à Rede Steam TechCamp BRASIL para a troca de experiências e suporte a distância com especialistas. Também poderão concorrer a recursos para implantação de seus planos por meio do edital ‘Small Grants’, que selecionará as melhores propostas.
A iniciativa amplia e dá sequência ao programa Steam TechCamp Brasil, realizado há cinco anos, que já beneficiou mais de 43 mil professores e 157 mil alunos de todo o país. Esta edição é organizada pelo Laboratório de Sistemas Integráveis Tecnológico (LSI-TEC), com o patrocínio master da Embaixada dos EUA no Brasil, bem como do Instituto 3M e da Fundação Siemens Brasil. A iniciativa conta ainda com o apoio institucional do Conselho Nacional de Secretários de Educação (Consed), do Conselho Nacional de Instituições da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica (Conif) e da Poli-USP.
Sobre o LSI-TEC: A associação do LSI-TEC é uma Instituição de Ciência e Tecnologia (ICT) que atua no desenvolvimento de tecnologia avançada para levar soluções inovadoras à sociedade, a partir de parcerias com instituições do setor público e privado.
