O 1º Festival da Cultura Kadiweu terá a participação, na quarta-feira (17), do Procon/MS (Secretaria-Executiva de Orientação e Defesa do Consumidor), instituição vinculada à Sead (Secretaria de Estado de Assistência Social e dos Direitos Humanos).
Na Aldeia Campina, localizada na região de Bodoquena, a comunidade indígena celebra suas tradições e cultura com exposição de fotografias, mostra de comidas típicas, cinema infantil, exposição de grafismos, pintura facial e dança típica do povo Kadiweu. Equipe do Procon/MS estará presente no evento das 8h às 16h.
“O convite da liderança local também nos permite lançar em conjunto a primeira etapa do projeto ‘Procon vai as Comunidades Quilombolas e aos Territórios Indígenas’, onde vamos levar nossos serviços de atendimento, orientação e defesa dos consumidores as pessoas que vivem nessas comunidades”, explica o secretário-executivo do Procon/MS, Angelo Motti.
A participação da instituição ocorre a convite do cacique Pedro Nunes e do subsecretário de Políticas Públicas para Povos Originários, Fernando da Silva Souza. Outras ações ainda estão sendo formatadas junto a subsecretaria para atendimento a outras comunidades no Estado.
