Na noite desta segunda-feira (30), uma audiência pública foi realizada na Assembleia Legislativa de Mato Grosso (ALMT) para discutir o programa de Desenvolvimento do Pantanal, financiado pelo Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento Social, o BID Pantanal. Durante o evento, presidido pelo deputado Wilson Santos, o secretário municipal de Agricultura, Trabalho e Desenvolvimento Econômico, Francisco Vuolo, apresentou os projetos desenvolvidos dentro do Programa Agro da Gente, da Prefeitura de Cuiabá, que podem ser fortalecidos com os recursos do BID Pantanal.
“Com o objetivo de melhorar a renda dos trabalhadores rurais, vamos implementar políticas que promovam o crescimento da atividade econômica, incentivando a formação de redes de negócios solidários e o aprimoramento das cooperativas. Para que consigamos alcançar esse propósito, estamos pleiteando um recurso na ordem de 77 milhões de reais, que serão utilizados em cinco cadeias produtivas desenvolvidas nas áreas rurais de Cuiabá, além de um projeto de turismo rural, no Rio Cuiabá”, explicou o secretário.
A maior parte dos recursos, no valor de 43,5 milhões de reais, será direcionada para o Projeto Boa Semente na Cadeia de Frutas, Legumes e Verduras, desenvolvida, principalmente, nas comunidades de Marcolana, Mineira e no Cinturão Verde. Os recursos serão investidos em estruturas de abastecimento de água, captação (cisternas), matriz energética fotovoltaica, distribuição e implemento de estruturas para projeto de irrigação em um hectare. Além da aquisição de insumos agronômicos, unidade móvel de processamento da produção, veículos utilitários, sistemas hidropônicos, estufas e equipamentos.
A Cadeia do Leite receberá 12 milhões de reais para o Projeto Mais Leite, na região do Assentamento 21 de Abril. Isso incluirá incentivo à agroindústria com o selo de inspeção, infraestrutura e equipamentos, insumos agrícolas, veículos para transporte do leite e fomento do cooperativismo e associativismo.
Na Cadeia da Apicultura, o Projeto Gente do Mel atenderá a região do Aricazinho. Serão destinados 6,5 milhões de reais para a aquisição de kits de produção e de segurança (EPI), bem como o incentivo à agroindústria, por meio da implantação de unidades móveis, denominadas de Casa do Mel, que permitirão a comercialização de produtos devidamente certificados.
O Projeto Peixe da Gente, na Cadeia da Piscicultura, desenvolvida nas comunidades Rio dos Peixes e Distrito do Aguaçu, receberá 6,5 milhões de reais para apoiar os frigoríficos de peixe, implantar viveiros elevados, adquirir insumos e equipamentos, investir na infraestrutura de acesso à produção e implantar uma unidade de processamento para fabricação de gelo.
O Projeto Aves da Gente, na Cadeia da Avicultura, realizada no Distrito da Guia, receberá 5,5 milhões de reais para estimular uma unidade de entreposto de postura, com incentivo à produção e comercialização de ovos com o selo de inspeção. A aquisição de veículos utilitários, construção de galinheiros, fornecimento pintainhos e contratos de venda futura fazem parte do projeto.
Além disso, o Projeto Turismo Rural no Rio Cuiabá contará com 4,5 milhões de reais para aquisição de equipamentos, incluindo uma chalana e a construção de um píer, cujo objetivo é fomentar a navegabilidade e o turismo no Rio Cuiabá. O investimento na infraestrutura de acesso aos pontos turísticos, com a implantação da sinalização e marketing irão potencializar o setor.
“A parceria entre a Prefeitura de Cuiabá e o Governo Federal, por meio do MAPA, permitirá o aumento da renda e melhoria da qualidade de vida dos habitantes das áreas rurais. Seguimos a diretriz do prefeito Emanuel Pinheiro, pois reconhecemos que não podemos atingir nossos objetivos de maneira isolada, portanto, estamos alinhados com o Governo Federal nesse esforço conjunto. Estamos empolgados e ansiosos, com a real possibilidade do aporte financeiro proveniente do BID Pantanal, para avançarmos no fortalecimento da economia de Cuiabá, em conjunto com os produtores rurais de pequenas propriedades locais”, finalizou o secretário.
