Inaugurado há três anos no PIT (Parque de Inovação Tecnológica), o Centro de Inovação e Tecnologia da Nestlé Brasil já reuniu em sua plataforma 60 projetos e pesquisas, conexão com mais de 580 startups e parceria com mais de 70 universidades.
A instalação do Centro de Tecnologia contou com o apoio e o trabalho da Prefeitura de São José dos Campos.
O centro foi criado com o objetivo de acelerar a pesquisa e o desenvolvimento de inovações dentro do conceito de Connected Factory (fábrica conectada) e de Indústria 4.0.
A estrutura fica próxima à fábrica de Caçapava, planta modelo da Nestlé, onde são desenvolvidas e testadas soluções tecnológicas que, se aprovadas, seguem para desenvolvimento em outras unidades da empresa na América Latina.
Tecnologias
Durante esses três anos, o Centro de Inovação fomentou tecnologias fabris em Inteligência Artificial, Sistemas de Visão Computacional, Robôs Autônomos e Sensores IoT, entre outras. Destas tecnologias, 12 projetos já estão em fase de implementação e contribuindo para a otimização dos processos das fábricas da Nestlé.
A instalação de uma rede privativa 5G na fábrica de Caçapava também foi impulsionada após testes e experimentos promissores realizados no Centro de Inovação.
“Por meio da inovação é possível desenvolver produtos e serviços com menor impacto ambiental e tornar os processos produtivos e logísticos mais eficientes, além de criar modelos de negócios mais sustentáveis que gerem resultados para nós e para nossos parceiros. Por isto, celebrar cada ano de existência do Centro de Inovação é tão importante”, afirmou o gerente de Automação e Transformação Digital da Nestlé Brasil, Gustavo Moura, à plataforma TI Inside.
“Em uma empresa do tamanho da Nestlé podemos usar nossa escala para acelerar a inovação em parceria com diferentes atores desse ecossistema. É o espaço apropriado para estreitar relacionamento com startups, ter acesso antecipado a novas tendências tecnológicas e replicar conceitos aplicados em outros segmentos industriais”, completou.
