Com alerta de temporais, Defesa Civil de SP reforça monitoramento do clima

Com a divulgação do alerta para possibilidade de fortes chuvas ao longo deste final de semana, a Defesa Civil do Estado reforçou o monitoramento das condições climáticas desde a madrugada deste sábado (20). Três mortes foram registradas até o momento, duas em Limeira e uma em Sorocaba.

Duas mulheres, uma de 70 anos e outra de 35 anos, morreram após serem arrastadas pela enxurrada e ficarem presas embaixo de um veículo, em Limeira. Em Sorocaba, uma mulher de 74 anos morreu após ficar presa no interior de um veículo que foi arrastado pela força das águas. O outro ocupante do veículo foi resgatado sem ferimentos.

As equipes do Centro de Gerenciamento de Emergências estão de prontidão para eventuais emergências e mobilização de agentes estaduais e municipais, em especial na faixa leste paulista, incluindo todo o litoral, a capital e parte do interior.

As áreas com probabilidade de ocorrências de maior risco nos próximos dias são Baixada Santista, Litoral Norte, Vale do Paraíba, Grande São Paulo e as regiões de Sorocaba, Itapeva, Vale do Ribeira e Campinas, com acumulados de chuva que podem variar entre 130 mm e 200 mm neste final de semana, além de rajadas de ventos que podem chegar até 90 km/h.

Sob supervisão da Defesa Civil, o CGE monitora as condições climáticas e orienta a comunicação entre Estado, prefeituras e concessionárias de distribuição de energia para pronta resposta a situações de emergência em caso de temporais e rajadas de vento.

Com a previsão de grandes volumes acumulados no final de semana, especialmente durante o sábado (20), a Defesa Civil do Estado recomenda atenção redobrada em áreas urbanas mais vulneráveis. Devido ao encharcamento do solo, haverá risco de deslizamentos, desabamentos, alagamentos, enchentes e ocorrências relacionadas a descargas elétricas e vento forte.

Abaixo, confira algumas das principais orientações da Defesa Civil de SP para autoproteção durante temporais:

– Durante tempestades, é importante evitar áreas arborizadas devido ao risco de quedas de árvores. Caso haja queda de raios, procure abrigo em edificações. Nas áreas alagadas com enxurradas, uma lâmina com 15 cm de profundidade pode arrastar pessoas e, a partir de 30 cm, já é capaz de levar um automóvel.

– Os temporais podem provocar fortes rajadas de vento, com risco de queda de árvores e danos em construções quando as rajadas chegam a 75km/h. Em cenários mais críticos, os vendavais com velocidade a partir de 90km/h podem arrancar árvores e provocar danos estruturais em construções. Nestes casos, procure um abrigo seguro, evitando árvores ou coberturas metálicas frágeis; mantenha distância de janelas, vidros e objetos perfurantes; abandone atividades com andaimes e encaixes metálicos; e, ao dirigir, evite se aproximar de cabos elétricos, torres de transmissão, outdoors, andaimes e outras estruturas frágeis.

– Moradores de áreas de encosta precisam observar sinais de movimentação do solo. Antes de grandes deslizamentos, fique atento a rachaduras nas paredes, portas e janelas emperradas, postes e árvores inclinados e água lamacenta escorrendo pelo morro. Diante de qualquer um destes sinais, o local deve ser abandonado imediatamente.

– Caso um fio energizado caia sobre o veículo, os ocupantes devem permanecer dentro do automóvel e ligar para o serviço de emergência. Se o carro começar a pegar fogo, ele deve ser abandonado, mas existe um modo correto de sair. Não toque nas partes metálicas e pise com os dois pés no chão. Depois, afaste-se dando pulos, sempre pisando os dois pés no chão ao mesmo tempo, até pelo menos 10 metros do local da queda do fio.

– Mantenha-se informado por meios oficiais para receber informações atualizadas sobre as condições climáticas e possíveis alertas. Busque sempre os canais oficiais da Defesa Civil por meio do @defesacivilsp e, agora, também pelo canal do WhatsApp na aba Atualizações, Canais Defesa Civil do Estado de São Paulo.
