Estão abertas as inscrições para o 17º Jogos Urbanos Indígenas de Campo Grande, realizado pela Prefeitura de Campo Grande, por meio da Fundação Municipal de Esportes (Funesp). O evento já é tradicionalmente conhecido e tem como objetivo promover a celebração entre os povos indígenas do município, valorizando o caráter educativo e comunitário e proporcionando o esporte nas aldeias.
Serão disputadas as modalidades de Arco e Flecha, Lança, Atletismo, Cabo de Guerra, Futebol Society masculino e feminino e Futsal.
As inscrições devem ser feitas em formulários próprios e entregues no período de 25 de março de 2024, até as 16 horas do dia 19 de abril de 2024, na Gerência de Organização de Eventos da Funesp, situado na Rua Paulo Coelho Machado, 663 – Bairro Santa Fé. Após esta data as fichas não poderão ser alteradas e não serão aceitas novas inscrições.
Só participarão do 17º Jogos Urbanos Indígenas de Campo Grande 2024, as comunidades indígenas, regularmente inscritas nos Jogos. Além de indígenas e cônjuge não indígena que residem na comunidade participante com a autorização e assinatura na ficha de inscrição do responsável pela comunidade ficando extremamente proibida a participação de atletas de outros municípios.
Fica autorizada a participação de atletas indígenas que residam fora das comunidades, desde que tenham domicílio no município de Campo Grande ou em seus distritos (Rochedinho e Anhanduí). A veracidade da informação se dará pela assinatura do cacique na ficha de inscrição.
O Congresso técnico será dia 22 de abril de 2024 às 18:00, na Fundação Municipal de Esportes.
Na classificação final, será concedida a seguinte premiação: Troféu de 1° lugar geral para a equipe com maior pontuação; v Medalhas aos atletas classificados em 1º, 2º e 3º lugar.
Cada ano que passa, o número de participantes só aumenta. No ano de 2022 marcaram presença no parque, entre atletas, suas famílias e visitantes, mais de duas mil pessoas. São mais de 20 etnias na capital assistindo ou participando das atividades.
Os jogos são realizados pela Prefeitura de Campo Grande, por meio da Gerência de Organização de Eventos – GOE, da Fundação de Esportes (Funesp) e parceria com a Subsecretaria de Defesa dos Direitos Humanos (SDHU).
Participaram na edição anterior as comunidades: Água Bonita, Darci Ribeiro, Parawá, Marçal de Souza, Estrela do Amanhã, Novo Dia, Água Funda Upê Noty, Peyo Kaxe, Jardim Inapólis, Tarsila do Amaral, Vivendas do Parque, Nova Canaã, Portal Caiobá, Ceramista, Roda Velha, Novo Dia, Vila Terena, Noroeste, jardim Anache e Acadêmicos indígenas.
