Primeira dose da vacina que protege contra dengue será administrada até o final de abril

A Prefeitura de João Pessoa faz o alerta e convoca pais e responsáveis por crianças e adolescentes na faixa etária de 10 a 14 anos, para iniciar o esquema de vacinação que protege contra a dengue, que será ofertado nos diversos serviços de saúde e nos pontos extras da Capital até o fim de abril.  A imunização se alcança com duas doses, com intervalo de 90 dias entre elas. A vacina é segura e o uso foi aprovado pela Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa).  

“A estratégia de vacinação para esse grupo de crianças e adolescentes é onde, segundo dados epidemiológicos do Ministério da Saúde, se concentra a maior proporção de internação pela doença. Temos feito chamamentos constantes e pedimos a colaboração dos pais e responsáveis para acompanhar esse público até um ponto de vacinação, seja nas unidades de saúde ou nos pontos móveis e iniciar o esquema preventivo”, alertou Fernando Virgolino, chefe da Seção de Imunização da Prefeitura de João Pessoa.  

Ainda segundo o coordenador, nesse período de temperaturas altas e chuvas recorrentes, é importante que haja a vigilância nos domicílios e ambientes comerciais. “Temos que ser parceiros nesse cuidado. A Prefeitura tem feito ações contínuas, com os agentes de endemias da Secretaria de Saúde e demais órgãos para fiscalizar os locais e tentar controlar e conter os focos de dengue, sobretudo, a população deve ser vigilante também e monitorar os ambientes em suas residências e não deixar água parada exposta, para evitar a proliferação do mosquito”, completou.  

Proteção contra Dengue – A vacina é recomendada para crianças e adolescentes de 10 a 14 anos, com o esquema composto de duas doses, em intervalo de três meses entre as doses. Caso o usuário tenha contato com a doença antes da vacina, é recomendado aguardar seis meses para o início do esquema vacinal com a vacina dengue (atenuada). Caso a infecção ocorra após o início do esquema, não há alteração no intervalo entre D1 e D2, desde que a D2 não seja realizada com o período inferior a 30 dias do início da doença.  

A Prefeitura realiza também a campanha de vacinação contra Influenza, que é destinada às pessoas que fazem parte do grupo prioritário. São elas: crianças de 6 meses a menores de 6 anos de idade (5 anos, 11 meses e 29 dias), trabalhadores da saúde, gestantes, puérperas (aquelas mulheres que estão no período de até 45 dias após o parto), professores do ensino básico e superior, povos indígenas, idosos com 60 anos ou mais de idade, pessoas em situação de rua, profissionais das forças de segurança e salvamento, profissionais das Forças Armadas e pessoas com doenças crônicas não transmissíveis e outras condições clínicas especiais, pessoas com deficiência permanente, trabalhadores de transporte coletivo rodoviário para passageiros urbanos e de longo curso, trabalhadores portuários, população privada de liberdade e funcionários do sistema de privação de liberdade, adolescentes e jovens de 12 a 21 anos de idade sob medidas socioeducativas.  

Documentação – Para vacinação contra a dengue, basta o usuário levar a caderneta de vacinação e um documento oficial. Para Influenza é necessário levar, além do cartão de vacina, os documentos comprobatórios de cada grupo. Os profissionais que se enquadram na ampliação dos grupos prioritários deverão apresentar documento de identificação com foto e comprovante (declaração, carteira do conselho de classe ou contracheque) de vínculo com a empresa ou instituição onde atua. Já pessoas com doenças crônicas não transmissíveis e outras condições clínicas especiais deverão apresentar laudo médico.  

Vacinação domiciliar – Para pessoas acamadas e restritas ao leito é necessário fazer agendamento, por meio do número (83) 98645-7727. As vacinas são disponibilizadas nos domicílios, de segunda a sexta-feira, no horário das 8h às 16h.
